Teton County’s largest animal adoption event and pet toy drive of the year!
On Saturday, December 4th, we’ll be in a big heated tent in the Albertson’s Parking Lot.
Date: December 4th
Time: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
PARTICIPATING SHELTERS AND RESCUES include: Jackson/Teton County, Star Valley, Targhee and The Animal Adoption Center.
Remember there are hundreds of pets waiting for their forever homes in our 3 local shelters. Consider adding a furry friend to your home this holiday season! If you can’t adopt, PAWS will be accepting NEW dog treats, cat toys and other pet essentials such as bowls, beds and bones during our second annual toy drive for our local homeless pets!

It’s a beautiful day at the dog park! Drop by to see all the local four-legged friends enjoying themselves on this gorgeous day. We are so thrilled to see so many people using the park. Thanks everyone for stopping by the PAWS Booth on Saturday at Old Bill’s Fun Run for Charities! We had a great turnout and a beautiful day. The Community Foundation is accepting donations until Friday at 5:00 PM, so if you haven’t donated you still have time. Just go to www.oldbills.org and select PAWS as your non-profit of choice!

This beautiful new park is dedicated to the life and spirit of Kristen Ardinger Karn and her beloved dog, Sophie. Kristen was an avid animal lover and built her life in Jackson Hole around them. Not only was her business based on caring for them but she also volunteered her time at PAWS and the Animal Shelters in our community. This dog park will be a beautiful place for people to visit and spend some time with their furry friends, one of Kristen’s favorite things to do!

PAWS is now actively recruiting Dog Park Ambassadors!
If you have some free time & would like to volunteer to be part of an elite pack of Dog Park volunteers, please take a look at your schedule starting Monday, August 23. We are looking for people to spend an hour or two per week at the PAWS Dog Park (preferably the same day each week, indefinitely) – helping to educate people about the rules & encouraging them to keep the park clean and beautiful.
If you are interested in this new volunteer program, we can give you all the details & start training you to be a PAWS Dog Park Ambassador. To confirm your interest in this great volunteer opportunity, call PAWS today at 307-734-2441 or email amy@pawsofjh.org. Ambassadors must be at least 16 years of age or accompanied by an adult.

On the second Saturday of September, over 3,000 people come together for one of the biggest celebrations of community spirit and support in the country, Old Bill’s Fun Run! This year, Old Bill’s will take place on September 11, 2010. A portion of the donations made through Old Bill’s will be matched by the Community Foundation, so please — remember PAWS for your Old Bill’s donation. See you there!
