Please join PAWS of Jackson Hole for their radio show “PAWS for Pets.”
It airs every first Monday of the month at 3:00pm on the community radio station, KHOL (89.1 FM).
On July 5, Amy & Rose will be speaking on some common misperceptions when it comes to buying a purebred dog from a breeder. They will be talking about what an AKC registration really means, in addition to the new PAWS dog park that will be opening on Scott Lane in July!
We’ve had some changes in volunteer schedules & unfortunately, we’ve LOST our TUESDAY dog walker at the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter. Please let us know if you are able to volunteer for TUESDAYS starting JUNE 22 & can commit to EACHTUESDAY thereafter.
Even if you can only do for the summer season, please let us know!
Or . . . please forward this to a friend that may be interested in helping the shelter each week.
PAWS, the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter & all of the furry friends awaiting their forever homes thank you!
Please join PAWS of Jackson Hole for their radio show “PAWS for Pets.” It airs every first Monday of the month at 3:00pm on the community radio station, KHOL (89.1 FM). On June 7, Amy and Rose speak about planning for your pets in the event of a disaster. Disasters, such as hurricanes, tornadoes and floods don’t just affect people – they also affect pets and other animals. The ladies will also be speaking with Darren Rudd, Teton County’s Animal Control Officer. He will be providing information on creating a disaster kit for your pets and on what to do if evacuation is required.
Please come support PAWS at the Town Council Meeting!
It takes place on Monday, June 7 at 6:00 PM at the clock tower building on Pearl Street. We are seeking approval to develop a parcel of land on Scott Lane into Jackson’s FIRST Dog Park! This is the final approval that we need to begin development of the park this summer.
There will be an opportunity for public comment at the meeting and we are looking for anyone willing to speak on behalf of the cleanliness of dog parks, in addition to confirming that peer pressure does work to encourage responsible behavior. We would also love for residents to tell Town Council that a dog park would be a fantastic addition to our Jackson community.
Please attend this very important public meeting if you can –
Thanks so much for your support in advance!
