Bringing Your Dog into the Vet Office for Check-Ups in Jackson Hole, Wyoming
2009 May 12
MEET:
Jim Bob & Selva
NAME:
Selva
BREED:
Half German Shepherd & Half Hound
OWNER:
Jim Bob
GOOD DEED:
We found Jim Bob & Selva visiting the vet office for a quick check-up and prescription refill. Selva was diagnosed this past spring with a condition called Pannus, a disease that affects the cornea of the eye. Pannus occurs mainly in German Shepherd breeds, dogs that spend a lot of time outdoors in sunlight and dogs living at elevations higher than 5,000 feet. Jim Bob gives Selva eye drops everyday as the main line of defense against progression of the disease. Bringing your furry friend to the vet for a routine check up each year is the best way to invest in your pet’s health. Thanks Jim Bob for being a responsible pet owner!
